Eryn’s goal is to work with each client to provide a service that is tailored to their needs, desires, and lifestyle. She does this by combining more than 20 years of experience cutting and coloring hair with her extensive knowledge of the latest innovations in cutting techniques, color technology, extension applications, and product development. Eryn synthesizes her experience and knowledge with unparalleled customer service to provide the ultimate Calm experience for her clients.

I am a Level 2 stylist at Calm Salon in Oakland with four years of experience behind the chair. As a Mr. Smith Ambassador, I’m deeply committed to creating hair that not only looks beautiful, but feels healthy, refined, and effortlessly luxurious.
I specialize in dimensional color and modern, wearable cuts designed to grow out seamlessly. My approach is intentional and detail-oriented, every service is fully customized to enhance your natural features, complement your lifestyle, and elevate your overall look.
I grew up and currently live in Martinez, and I truly value building long-term relationships with my guests. Creating a calm, elevated space where you feel cared for and confident is just as important to me as the final result. Recently married in 2025, I’m in a season of growth both personally and professionally, continually refining my craft and investing in advanced education to bring the highest level of service to my chair.
Outside of the salon, you’ll find me cooking at home, going on bike rides, or spending time at the beach with my husband and our dog. I’m drawn to experiences that feel relaxed yet intentional, polished without being overdone, which is exactly how I approach hair.

As a Bay Area native, I’ve always had a deep love for my hometown and the community that shaped me. Growing up, I was the girl constantly experimenting with my own hair, every color you can imagine, because I’ve always been drawn to creativity and beauty.
Becoming a hairdresser felt natural to me. My passion is helping people feel confident, empowered, and more like themselves when they walk out of my chair. I truly believe hair is more than just a style; it’s self-expression.
When I’m not behind the chair, you can find me hiking local trails, spending quality time with my family, or cozying up with a good movie or binge-worthy show. I’m so excited to connect, create, and help you love your look.
Annaliese Davis
Associate Stylist

I’m a proud Bay Area native, born and raised in Oakland and Alameda! I honed my craft in cosmetology at Laney College and have been part of Calm Salon since 2022.
I actually started my journey at the front desk before stepping behind the chair as a stylist! As a generalist, I love working with all hair types and creating looks that leave my clients feeling confident, refreshed, and absolutely glowing.
When I’m not in the salon, you’ll probably find me dancing as a proud member of the San Francisco 49ers Hype Team! 💃✨
Nariah Hall

Originally from Reno, Nevada, I recently relocated to Oakland to begin my journey in the hair industry. My love for self-expression through hair started at ten, when I got chunky blue highlights at a salon. Soon after, I began coloring my own hair and encouraging my friends to get creative with theirs, too. I especially love working with vivid colors, though I enjoy creating any style that helps someone feel confident and fully themselves. When I’m not behind the chair, I’m skiing in the Sierras, mountain biking the Oakland Hills, playing soccer, or diving into crafty projects like sewing and crocheting. No matter the day’s activities, I always unwind with my kitty at night.
Amanda Simms
Manager
I started my journey as a hairstylist in 2016, where I fell in love with the creativity, connection, and confidence that come with life behind the chair. In 2024, I shifted my focus to the business side of the beauty industry and stepped into the role of Manager at Calm Salon. Having worked as both a stylist and a manager gives me a unique perspective, and I genuinely love mentoring our team, sharing what I’ve learned, and helping everyone grow and thrive.
My goal at the salon is to create a unique, welcoming, and inspiring space where both clients and stylists feel valued, supported, and excited to be here.
